HCKC Sea Kayak Fleet 2021 Summary Report
The Sea Kayak fleet worked together to accomplish a fun and safe paddling season. We enjoyed paddling with many new members to new and past favorite destinations.
Our large number of participants, both new and seasoned, on our extended trips, challenged us to improve communications and to keep paddlers safe on the water.
New Destinations wouldn’t be possible without time and planning on the part of the trip sponsors and leads. This year we explored:

The Open Water Rescue was expanded to a two day training at Summit Lake. There were 27 participants!! This was a great opportunity to learn or practice rescue and safety skills. Additional trainers included -Nate Strong, Dave Ellis, Carol Anderson, Dan Cavins and Wally Burchfield
