Trip Sponsor Richard Tekulve led 16 paddlers on this 12.5-mile trip. Put in was at the historic Medora Covered Bridge. While the East Fork generally has adequate flow even in otherwise dry conditions, there was a good bump up in the river level from rain the previous week. No real hazards except for trees in the river. One person did inadvertently get too close to one of these trees, and went for a surprise swim. Thanks, Ellen P. for the successful efforts to get the unfortunate paddler to a place of safety, and retrieve the kayak from the sunken tree.
