Fall Creek Trip

Don’t have time to paddle distant rivers? Then join us for an eastside Indianapolis favorite. Bring a lunch, sunscreen and water in addition to your usual paddling gear. Life vests are required to be worn on club trips.

Meet at the McDonald’s at 9833 Fall Creek Road (E. 79th & Fall Creek Rd.) at 10 am. The put in is across the street and once boats are unloaded we will shuttle to the take out. There are 2 possible take outs so folks will need to decide which they prefer. Emerson take out is a 7.2 mile trip and Keystone is a 9.7 mile trip. Lunch will be just below ‘Killer’ Falls…new paddlers don’t be intimidated as it is just a short rapids. This creek goes up and down quickly so if there are any challenges the trip leader will notify you by 7 pm on Friday, June 26.

If you have not done so for this year, PLEASE FILL OUT THE NEW E-WAIVER.   HCKC is moving to a new electronic waiver system instead of our old paper waiver.  This only needs to be completed once each year.  If you have already submitted your e-waiver, you do not need to do it again until next year.  If you are bringing a non-member guest, they should use this e-waiver.
