White River

Saturday, September 9th 

This is an easy paddle down White River from Noblesville to 116th Street on Saturday, September 9th. The 10.4 mile trip begins at the PAS across from the entrance to Forest Park in Noblesville. Further down we pass by the grounds of Connor Prairie while enjoying local birds and wildlife. It is an easy paddle so beginners are welcome as well as seasoned veterans. The river in September is usually on the low and slow side so expect to be on the water about 4 hours. As usual, expect to wear your PFD and bring padding gear, sunscreen, water and lunch. This section is generally deep enough even in drier conditions but registrants will be notified by 7 pm on September 8 if there are any challenges or changes.

Meeting time:  9:30 am at PAS across the street from the entrance to Forest Park in Noblesville.

Shuttle: 10:00 am shuttle leaves for take out under the 116th Street bridge at the end of Wahpihani Road (across the street from Eller Road/116th).

On the water:  11:00 am
